What does a tabletop game with Bladestorm rules look like? For experienced players, the answer to this question might be rather simple and “Well, that depends” is probably not the answer you’ve been looking for. So let’s have a closer look!
The following photos were taken during a longer gaming session in early 2016. Aside from good – emmm – food and drink, the table shows everything that is recommended for an encounter.
- A playing surface with a definite border (fleeing combatants need somewhere to run to)
- Some buildings and landmarks that allow strategic movement
- A green cord to separate woods from clear terrain
- A tape measure
- Optionally, a line laser to check line-of-sight in ranged combat
Tip: If you want to reuse your combatant cards in future games, it is probably a good idea to laminate them.
